Getting to know patients and taking the time to talk with them is far and away the best part of my job. I believe education is empowerment. Therefore, I take the time to get to know patients and share helpful information so individuals can get healthy and stay healthy.

I especially enjoy pediatrics, treating newborns and caring for children of all ages. I also enjoy the problem-solving challenges in family medicine. My father was a doctor and it sparked my early interest in medicine. It’s a very humbling and ever-changing line of work. Every day I learn something new and I really like that.

It is truly a privilege to care for patients, and I try never to forget it. Their trust is very important.
